Our Story

We learned this business with our own money on the line.

South St Investments didn't start as a contracting company. It started with us buying houses — tired, dated, structurally sound houses in good Orange County neighborhoods — and rebuilding them from the studs out until they were the best home on the street.

When it's your own capital in the walls, you learn what actually matters: layouts that live well, systems that won't call back, and finish work that holds up to a buyer running their hand across every surface. You also learn what's a waste of money — and we'll tell you when something is.

Today we put that experience to work for homeowners. Same crew, same standard, same obsession with getting it right the first time.

What We Stand On

Three commitments on every job.

An owner's standard

Every decision gets made the way we made it when the house was ours: is this right for the home, not just easy for the builder?

One accountable team

General contracting, HVAC, and electrical live under one roof. When one team owns the schedule, the schedule holds.

Straight answers

Line-item scopes, honest timelines, and a phone that gets answered. If something changes, you hear it from us first — with a plan.

How It Works

A straight line from first call to final walkthrough.

01

Walk & Listen

We walk the property with you, talk through what you want, and flag what the house actually needs. No charge, no pressure.

02

Scope & Price

You get a clear, line-item scope and schedule. You'll know what's included, what's excluded, and what each phase costs.

03

Build

Our crew runs the job daily — demo, framing, mechanical, electrical, finish — sequenced tight, permitted, and kept clean.

04

Deliver

Punch list closed, inspections signed, and a final walkthrough where we hand you a home that shows like our portfolio.

The Proof

Our portfolio sold at the top of its neighborhoods.

The two featured homes in our portfolio were our own investments — bought, gutted, rebuilt, and sold. Burleigh Drive in Yorba Linda closed at $1.76M in 2025. Calle Granada in Anaheim Hills closed at $1.25M in 2024. That's what an owner's standard is worth.
